Besides possession of a Category 2 narcotic, the man was charged with resisting law enforcement officers in the performance of their duties under Section 138 of Thailand’s Criminal Code. The suspect was taken to the Phangan police station for further proceedings, and as required by law, the presumption of innocence applies.
