About the place
A small pier on the west side of Haad Rin, at the south-eastern end of Haad Rin Nai (Sunset Beach). The Haad Rin Queen comes here from Big Buddha pier at Bangrak on Samui: the only boat from Samui straight to Haad Rin, with no trip through Thong Sala. Every other ferry from Samui, Koh Tao and the mainland lands in Thong Sala.
Getting there
About 11 km from Thong Sala pier on the steep road over the hills. The Full Moon beach is a 5–10 minute walk across the village.
