PACS (Phangan Animal Care for Strays)

PACS (Phangan Animal Care for Strays) has operated since 2001 as a non-profit veterinary clinic in Wok Tum. The clinic treats stray dogs and cats free of charge, cares for animals injured in road accidents, and runs island-wide spay/neuter and vaccination programmes. Once recovered, animals are usually returned to their familiar neighbourhood.

PACS receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations. Over 25 years the organisation has carried out more than 9,700 sterilisations and 12,400 rabies vaccinations.
