About the place
Every guide calls it the island's oldest temple, and its white stupa is dated to the 15th century. The main stupa, about 10 metres tall, is ringed by eight smaller ones, with old ceramic bowls set into the masonry. The other buildings are newer.
A small working temple; monks are about in the mornings. From the hill you see Thong Sala and the bay.
Getting there
About 4 km from Thong Sala pier, inland: the temple stands on a small hill near Koh Phangan Hospital.

- Shoulders and knees covered, shoes off before going into the buildings
- Entry is free
- It is quietest in the morning
