Another 7-Eleven Is Opening Near Zen Beach in December — Apparently, Walking 200 Metres Between Stores Is Too Much to Ask

If you thought it was already impossible to turn your head around Zen Beach without spotting the green-and-orange sign of a 7-Eleven, the chain has some exciting news for you: another branch is opening here in December.

There are already several stores within a 200-metre radius. Apparently, the ultimate goal of Thai retail is to have one 7-Eleven open directly into another — ideally somewhere between the fitting room and the ice freezer — so that nobody ever has to walk more than 30 seconds for a cheese toastie.

I counted six 7-Elevens along just 1.5 kilometres of road. That's one every 250 metres on average.

So, people of Sri Thanu, aren't you getting tired of walking such ridiculous distances for your beloved 7-Eleven triangle toasties?
